April was a tremendous help putting on Thanksgiving dinner for 30 people. Not only did they put together what was missing: the gravy and stuffing, but they were completely in charge of cleaning up. They saw that everyone who was willing to help had a role and that everything that needed to be done was. Everything ended up where it belonged and everyone who cooperated felt good about their participation. And I got to enjoy the meal without feeling overwhelmed.

We invited April to our Thanksgiving Family/Friendsgiving Dinner. They came, after doing a shuffle at some other events, hung out, and as people left, stayed to do our dishes. We didn't ask , they just did almost all of our dishes. Didn't even eat more than a couple of bites. It was so nice to not have to worry about clean up in the kitchen, especially after putting the small children to bed. The kids think April is great, too. April, you can stay in our basement, anytime

April was an outstanding help to me putting on a Passover Seder for 40 people. She came early and stayed late, helping the helpers find their way around an unfamiliar kitchen. Her knowledge of the setting and the needs made my organizing much easier.

April is wonderful! She is helpful, supportive, and really cares about her job. As a novice, she's really making cooking a thing that is not so scary for me. I've never spent so much time in my kitchen, and had so much fun in my kitchen. We are doing meal prep, which has been going well. I'm already eating better and healthier than I was when eating out.

April is amazing! She pours so much love and soul into her cooking and truly wants to provide a good experience and nourishment to all. She works so hard, is a kind soul, and makes delicious food!

April came out to our land and helped us put together our kitchen for our first music festival. She showed up early, worked hard, and was in good communication the entire time. The food was great, and everyone was fed well. It really could not have gone better!

April ran the kitchen at two farmer retreats the past 4 years, working for me at my vacation home in Red River Gorge Kentucky. We had 30 guests staying for a three day period. I thought the kitchen was too small, but April made it work without issue. They incorporated ingredients guests brought from their gardens with the staples that I had on hand. Guests were involved in the cooking without placing the onus for menu planning or bottom-lining the meal on anyone else. They took care of clean up in the same fashion. Their culinary and food safety training was evident, and they cooked some of the ingredients ahead of time to reduce gridlock around the range. Their leadership allowed me to rest easy and manage other aspects of the hospitality for the weekend.

April and I worked alongside each other in August of 2017. I was hired to operate the kitchen at a retreat in Upstate,SC. I lucked out to have gotten in contact with April for help. April arrived on time to the event site eager to get started. We spent the extended weekend cooking breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks from scratch for all attendees and staff of the retreat. Approximately 200 people. Over the weekend April spent many hours prepping, organizing, and demonstrating proper cooking techniques. April could execute any task that I needed, from organizing the cooler according to DHEC regulations, cutting vegetables or washing dishes. I was able to leave the kitchen in April's hands for part of the day when i needed a break. I would recommend April at any establishment for hire and would definitely take the help again for myself.

April is a longtime friend who has always had a passion for cooking. I always look forward to her visits when she passes through town because I know I am in for a treat of a delicious home-cooked meal. She'll collaborate to craft a menu and I'll pick up the groceries. April specializes in vegan and vegetarian dishes, but is adept in crafting meat-based dishes as well, and will gladly do so upon request. She is always very respectful of the space and is very diligent about cleaning up. April would be a great fit for someone with a busy work schedule that doesn't have the time to always make nutritious, home-cooked meals, or for small dinner parties and gatherings. She also assists with meal prep and house cleaning. She very much enjoys sharing her passion of cooking with others and anyone would be fortunate to have her cook for them. Highly recommend!

April is such a compassionate communicator and a lovely person to hire for events. She has such an eye for detail and a true joy about her work. Aprils apple chips are especially delicious and make for a fantastic snack!
